Jamie has 25 years of experience in employee benefits planning, and leads Provider Group’s Employee Benefits Practice. He works with businesses and non-profit organizations to develop a variety of traditional and non-traditional ways to approach employee benefits.
He specializes in complete evaluation of employee benefits and all the component pieces that are affected by the insurance products. This entails looking at insurance, compliance, technology, and human resources and the relationship they all have to each other. Jamie’s hands-on approach when working with clients has set him apart from most others in his field. His ability to look at each individual client, assess their weaknesses and strengths, and then compile a long term strategy to help them achieve their goals is why he has a 96% retention rate with his clients.
Jamie is a frequent speaker about Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, state regulatory changes, and federal regulatory topics and is a trusted expert in his field. Among other committees, he serves as a member of the Rhode Island Business Healthcare Advisors Council, is a Member of the HealthSource Advisory Board, as well as a member of the Small Business Insurance Group. He serves in a Broker / Advisory role with most of the regional health insurance carriers. He is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in secondary education. He has both his Health insurance Associate (HIA) and Managed Healthcare Professional Insurance (MHP) designations and is currently a candidate for the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program.
