MA House Votes to Repeal Insurance Surcharge for Headlight Now

The Massachusetts House voted unanimously to remove the insurance surcharge associated with the new law requiring motorists to use their headlights when their windshield wipers are on or during low visibility. This change now goes before the Senate for approval.

Violators of the law could still be ticketed, but they would no longer be subject to an insurance surcharge.
